Rainbow Rocks Pride Extravaganza

A Celebration of Resilience, Artistry, and Community Support

The Mission

The Rainbow Rocks Pride Extravaganza is more than just a show; it is a grassroots mission to protect the future of LGBTQIA+ youth in Columbus. Following a devastating $500,000 loss in grant funding that forced the closure of their vital Youth Shelter and housing programs, Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC) is facing one of its most challenging chapters.

To ensure our youth continue to have a safe space to be themselves, 20% of all ticket sales, 10% of door sales, and 30% from Sponsors, as well as a donation lockbox this event will be donated directly to KYC. These funds will go toward sustaining their essential Columbus-based operations, including their drop-in center and behavioral health services, which serve thousands of young people annually.

The Main Stage

The heart of the evening is an explosive fusion of music and performance:

Headlining Concert: A high-energy musical performance featuring TBD Announced Artist to keep the energy soaring.
Drag Queen Showcase: A curated lineup of the region’s most captivating drag artists, bringing world-class glamour, humor, and heart to the stage.

The Vendor Mart & Mini-Court

Beyond the stage, the event transforms into a vibrant community hub:

Local Vendor Mart: Shop from a diverse collection of Columbus-based small businesses, queer-owned shops, and local creators.
The Mini-Court: A dedicated space for local activists and advocacy groups. This “mini-court” serves as a town square for the LGBTQIA+ community, offering resources, networking opportunities, and a place to learn how to get involved in local social justice efforts.

Event Atmosphere

Expect a night where Vibrant LGBTQIA+ Community” meets high-production entertainment. This is a space for celebration, but it is also a space for solidarity. By attending, you are directly contributing to the safety and well-being of the next generation of queer and trans youth in Central Ohio.
